International Women’s Day Celebration – Lions Club of Karimganj On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8th March), the Lions Club of Karimganj proudly felicitated a true Lady of Substance, Miss Padmabati Majumder, a retired History teacher of MMMC Higher Secondary School for Girls. Miss Majumder is a culturally enriched and inspiring personality who has always worked tirelessly for the upliftment of underprivileged women. Even at the age of 80, she continues to remain actively involved with several NGOs, dedicating her time and energy to the development and empowerment of women. As a token of love and respect, she was honoured with a shawl, citation, and a fruit basket. The program was led by President Ln Jaishree Gang along with Project Chairperson Ln Sharmila Banik, and was graced by 15 Lion members, making the occasion meaningful and inspiring for all present. A true example that service and dedication have no age limit.
